As a Salesforce Developer (Financial Services Cloud) you are responsible for setting up and maintaining the Salesforce platform for ARAG Belgium.

In Belgium, Salesforce Industries (SFI, formerly Vlocity) is currently being implemented including the financial administration, more specifically the Salesforce Industries Core Insurance Package, which is a combination of Financial Services Cloud and Salesforce Industries components. This is done by an integration partner, with a strong focus on knowledge transfer and gradually taking ownership by an internal team. To reduce the external dependency, we are building an internal team with all the necessary skills.

You will become part of the Dutch Competence Center, but with the focus on the scrum team for Belgium. You actively think about how the possibilities of Salesforce can support your colleagues in their work and where things can be automated. You develop integrations with external systems and help with the implementation of new Salesforce functionalities and extensions.

As a Salesforce Developer, you know the value of the Salesforce Industries (SFI) platform for the customer and the organization and you directly help with the digital transformation of ARAG and the internationalization of the team.  Furthermore, your tasks include the following activities:

• managing, (further) developing and professionalizing Salesforce;
• designing technical solutions and coordinating with Architects;
• challenging the Product Owner on the functional and non-functional requirements and translating these into a technical solution;
• collaborating with your team members to make the sprints a success;l
• contributing to code quality, reusability, and platform scalability.

Functie-eisen

As a Salesforce Developer (Financial Service Cloud) you have:

• several years of experience as a Salesforce Developer;
• experience with Salesforce Industries (SFI), OmniStudio (including OmniScripts), and the SFI Core Insurance Package is a must;
• knowledge of Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, FlexCards, Decision and Calculation Matrices, and Vlocity Calculation Procedures / Expression Sets;
• experience with Salesforce Flows, Approval Processes, and Apex development is considered a plus;
• a solid understanding of how to develop high-quality and scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform;
• hands-on experience with integrations and deployment processes is considered a plus;
• knowledge of the Scrum methodology, with a willingness to share knowledge and experience with others, and to actively brainstorm with colleagues on continuous improvement;
• good command of the English language, both written and spoken; basic knowledge of French and Dutch is a plus;
• a valid Dutch-work permit and you must be situated in The Netherlands allready;
• you mainly work remotely; you are part of a Dutch team while working in a dedicated setup for Belgium.

Wat bieden we

You will receive a modern benefits package focused on autonomy and flexibility, with a gross monthly salary of up to €6.167,- (based on a 38-hour work week). Your final salary will depend on your knowledge and relevant work experience.
