What to expect:

  • Comprehensive training: As part of the Trainee/Graduate Program, you will learn about the diverse IT governance areas and processes within ARAG – both nationally and internationally. You will be accompanied by a personal mentor.
  • Responsible and exciting tasks: Right from the start, you will take on responsibility in projects and day-to-day business and can contribute your ideas to interdisciplinary project teams to develop innovative IT governance solutions.
  • Broad area of responsibility: You will work in various operational and strategic areas of IT governance.
  • International networking: You will gain experience and build up knowledge at an operational and strategic level by working at different locations, in various business areas and departments, giving you the opportunity to build up an international, group-wide network.
  • Completed studies: You have successfully completed a degree, ideally in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or a similar field of study, with above-average success.
  • Practical experience: You have gained initial practical experience, e.g., through internships, working student activities or in a junior position in an IT or governance environment.
  • Intercultural competence & mobility: Through your initial experience abroad, you have developed an interest in intercultural tasks and are willing to take on projects abroad.
  • Agile mindset & digital affinity: You convince with strong communication skills, a confident and winning demeanor, as well as innovative thinking and action. You are characterized by your above-average commitment and analytical skills, and you enjoy working in a team with different cultures.
  • Strong language skills: You are fluent in written and spoken English (at least C1 level) and have at least B1 level proficiency German.

Apply by end of July 2024 with your CV and certificates. We would be happy to receive a cover letter (although this is not mandatory). If your application is convincing, we will invite you to complete an online questionnaire and participate in an initial interview via MS Teams. In the second step, you will have a virtual interview with a representative from the specific department. The final selection of participants for the Trainee/Graduate Program will take place in the first half of September as part of an Experience Day at our ARAG Tower in Düsseldorf. From October 2024, you can start with us as a new ARAG trainee/graduate!
